Fighting for Redemption - Part 2

In Luke 19:8 Zaccheus stopped and said to Jesus, “Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I will give to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will give back four times as much." The usual first step of redemption is to make previous wrongs we have committed right. The moment the grace of God enters our life there is always (or should be) repentance. Part of that repentance is undoing, as we are able, the past damage we’ve caused. For me, it was an apology to my parents and my own family for the destruction I caused in my old life. For Zaccheus it was the money he stole by deception.

What is God preparing to redeem in your life today? Is there a relationship or situation the Holy Spirit is asking you to make right, to the best of your ability?

Lord, lead us to the places that You are redeeming today! Give us the boldness to believe what has been made wrong will be restored to what you see as right! Lord you ARE the REDEEMER!
