In God’s Hands

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”John 10:28

There is no safer place for a family than in the hands of God. Those same hands that formed man from the dust are the ones shaping our lives and holding our home steady when everything around us seems to shake.

As a family, we sometimes face moments of uncertainty—financial worries, sickness, disagreements, or difficult decisions. Yet, in the midst of it all, God reminds us that we are not alone. His hand continues to guide, protect, and shape our character.

When children don’t understand what’s happening, parents can say in faith:

“We are in God’s hands.”

And when parents feel weary, children can remind them:

“Mom, Dad, God will not let us go.”

In His hands there is direction for parents, comfort for children, and unity for the entire home.

Family Application

Pray together each morning, dedicating the day to God:

“Lord, we place our family in Your hands.”

Recall a testimony a moment when you felt God held you through a difficult time.

Read together Psalm 37:23–24 and talk about it:

How have we seen God lift us up when we stumbled?

To Reflect On

“Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with His hand.”

Psalm 37:24

Nothing and no one can snatch your family out of God’s hands.

In His hands there is purpose, protection, and peace.

So today, as you pray, say it together out loud:

“Lord, we entrust our family into Your hands.”
